Rare cars dazzle at Hampton Court Palace event
By Eleni Barrett 9th Sep 2026
An annual motor car show, Concours of Elegance, returned to Hampton Court Palace from 4 - 6 September.
The event brought together over sixty of the rarest cars across the world, many of which also took part in a driving tour in the days leading up to it.
The cars present at the event spanned over 100 years of automotive progress, with the UK's best car clubs showcasing their most impressive cars.
Additionally, Concours of Elegance also brought together 50 of the finest Jaguars in the country and independent judges awarded the Jaguar Trophy to their favourite. This year's winner was Andrew Turk's 1964 Jaguar E-Type Series 1.
The Best of Show winner was not decided by judges, but by the cars' owners themselves, who were able to vote for any vehicle other than their own.
This year's winner was the 1928 Mercedes-Benz 710 SSK Rennwagen.
Concours of Elegance will return to Hampton Court Palace on 3 September 2027 and tickets can be bought here.
