Train services through Kingston will be affected by engineering works taking place between Saturday 14 February and Tuesday 17 February, South Western Railway (SWR) has confirmed.

The works will impact services between New Malden, Twickenham and Shepperton, with replacement buses operating on several routes and a number of trains diverted or curtailed.

On Saturday 14 February, buses will replace trains between New Malden and Shepperton via Kingston, and between New Malden and Twickenham via Kingston.

No trains will run between London Waterloo and Shepperton. Services travelling from Waterloo via Wimbledon and Kingston will be diverted after New Malden and will terminate at Hampton Court.

Disruption continues on Sunday 15 February, with buses again replacing trains between New Malden and Shepperton, and New Malden and Twickenham, both via Kingston.

Revised services will operate from Waterloo via Wimbledon and Kingston but will also finish at Hampton Court. Some services between London Waterloo and Windsor & Eton Riverside will be revised.

In the afternoon and evening, trains from Waterloo to Kingston via Hounslow will terminate at Hounslow.

Further changes are planned for Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 February, when buses will replace trains between New Malden and Twickenham via Kingston.

Services between London Waterloo and Shepperton will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Fulwell, running via Richmond.

Trains operating via Wimbledon and Kingston will again be diverted after New Malden and finish at Hampton Court.
