DOG-FRIENDLY restaurant Megan's will open its fifteenth branch in Kingston town centre next month.

Megan's is a popular eatery with a 'loosely Mediterranean' menu and is due to open in Kingston on February 28.

It will be located on the site of the old Laura Ashley, just minutes from the riverside and the market.

Almost all Megan's are situated in London besides one in St. Alban's, Hertfordshire.

The Kingston branch will be the second in the borough. There is already a Megan's in Surbiton.

Other branches are in locations such as Kensington, Chelsea, Wimbledon, Chiswick, Clapham Common, Clapham Old Town, Wandsworth, Battersea, Dulwich, Islington, Parsons Green and Balham.

Megan's will be open for brunch, lunch, dinner and cocktails every day of the week and guests will be able to try the loosely-Mediterranean menu, serving food from sunny places.

Brunches are also available on the weekends for those that want bottomless Prosecco, or alternatively happy hour is available 5-7pm on weekdays.

Megan's is a neighbourhood restaurant that began as an antiques shop in 2002 on the Kings Road in Chelsea by Megan.

Megan eventually began to sell home-made pastries and cakes in the shop for hungry visitors.

In 2014, Megan moved to New Zealand and sold the shop to a local guest. Megan's has grown from there.

It has since spread to a number of new neighbourhoods to share it's "magical interiors, Mediterranean-influenced cooking and it's passion for great food & service."
