BESTSELLING author and former doctor Adam Kay will be treating Kingston audiences to two festive-themed shows tonight.

The award-winning stand-up is best known for his chart-topping book This Is Going To Hurt based on diaries from his time working as a doctor.

Tonight (14 December) he will be performing his festive show Twas the Nightshift Before Christmas, based on his festive follow-up to his first book.

Billed as "a love letter to all those who spend their festive season on the front line" the live show mixes highlights from the book with exclusive new content and material from Kay's stand-up.

The show is critically acclaimed with 4-star reviews from broadsheet newspapers and Stephen Fry among Kay's celebrity fans.

Tickets cost from £20 and are still on sale but going quickly.

The shows are at 6pm and 8.30pm at the Rose Theatre, 24-26 High Street, Kingston upon Thames.
