A new chip shop is opening in Kingston tomorrow (Thursday, 19 March).

The London Chip Club, which is located on Villiers Road, will open its doors to the public at 4.30pm on Thursday, bringing something new to Kingston that has been built on decades of experience.

Behind the brand are four operators who have spent years running fish and chip shops, learning what works, what does not, and what customers really value. London Chip Club is the culmination of that experience, brought together into one clear idea.

It aims to "create a traditional chippy with a modern twist".

Speaking about the opening a London Chip Club spokesperson told Nub News:"This has been two and a half years in the making from concept to delivery, and Kingston felt like the perfect place to bring it to life.

"We love the community here. There is real energy, real pride, and we wanted to build something that feels like it belongs from day one."

That sense of belonging sits at the heart of the brand's concept. The menu is designed around what people actually want to eat, and the space itself has been created to feel part of the area rather than separate from it.

Because, it says, "the goal is not just to open a shop, but to become part of the fabric of Kingston".

The spokesperson added: "We are four people who have grown up in this industry."

"We have taken everything we have learned and put it into this. It is our experience, our standards and our belief in what a modern chip shop can be. But most importantly, we want it to feel like Kingston's."

London Chip Club's menu reflects that thinking. Classic fish and chips sit alongside pies, burgers, chicken, sides and desserts, offering something for families, regulars and first timers alike.

Customers of the chippy can walk in or pre order online, "but the ambition goes beyond convenience," says the spokesperson.

They added: "This is about creating a place people choose, not just because it is nearby, but because it feels right."
