A Chinese food cart could start serving hot and cold food in a spot adjacent to Kingston Library and Kingston Museum, and residents have until this Sunday (9 December) to submit representations on the application.

You can submit your representations here.

Golden Jian hopes to trade from Wednesdays to Sundays.

It will sell crepes, Soy-Sauce Braised Chicken, and homemade fruit tea.

Customers will be allowed to use the toilet facilities in Kingston Library.

Applicant, Hai Yao, says that the "food cart is more than just a vessel for delicious food; it is also a meeting point of street culture and travel experience".
