Kingston Round Table is your local branch of Round Table; an international social organisation of ordinary guys aged between 18 and 45 years who meet up every other Thursday night to do some random activity then go for a beer afterwards.

The group also likes to support the local community and have fun whilst doing so.

The Kingston branch is known for its annual Santa's Sleigh, which it runs over four nights to collect money for local causes and spread festive cheer.

Last year, after a successful recruitment campaign, Kingston Round Table was able to resurrect Santa's Sleigh. Whilst the group says it had "great fun", it admits that it has ran into a problem this year.

Santa is in need of a new suit and some repairs to his Sleigh. Thus, the Kingston branch is hosting a comedy night called Save our Santa - SOS. Money raised from the night will help with Santa's repairs.

The comedy night will take place in the Willoughby Arms on Saturday, 8 November at 7pm.

Early bird Tickets cost £17.50 and are available to buy now here.

Last year, the Sleigh raised over £2,500 - a fantastic team effort and thanks to all the generous people of Kingston.

Kingston Round Table says: "But before then….if you are or know someone who is male, aged 18 to 45 and who wants to get out of the house every other Thursday night to try something new, make new friends and go for a beer afterwards then get in touch.

"We believe with men's mental health being so important it is vital for men to have opportunities like this where they can support one another and socialise."

Recent events have included Go Karting, Pole Fitness, hiring boats on the Thames, RC Racing and fencing. Next year, the branch's  plans include a treasure hunt, Butchery Night, Axe Throwing, Forge Night, Bee Keeping and much more.

If you are interested in joining Kingston Round Table, you can message the team on Facebook here or email [email protected]

Round Table is the largest young men's organisation in the world, with nearly 300 clubs in the UK alone and over 3,000 members. Kingston was the 19th Round Table chartered, making it one of the oldest still active Tables.
