Nine places in Kingston to try this Pancake Day

With Shrove Tuesday, AKA Pancake Day being only a week away on Tuesday, 4 March, here's a list of the best nine great places to try in the borough for pancakes.
1) Creams

For those who enjoy something a little more indulgent than sugar and lemon on their pancakes, Creams is the place to go.
With a choice of various chocolate faves, ice cream, fruits, biscuits, and sweets to add to your crepes, Creams is here to make this Pancake Day decadent.
What's more is that Creams also sells Hot Pockets, which are toasted crepe parcels, and the flavours for these include Banoffee and Black Forest.
Your Creams Pancake Day fix can either be enjoyed in store on Clarence Street or at home by ordering a Creams delivery using delivery apps JustEat, Deliveroo, and Uber Eats.
2) Bills

From stacks of three to five and with both sweet and savoury toppings, including bacon, fruit, or lotus Biscoff, Bills on Kingston's Riverside Walk has got you sorted this Pancake Day.
Why not make this Pancake Day extra special with Bills' bottomless pancakes, which runs every day from 3pm - 5pm for just £9.50 per person?

3) Fuwa Fuwa

Bored of the usual crepe and American-style pancakes? Well, why not try a different style of pancake this year at Fuwa Fuwa in the Bentall Centre?
FuwaFuwa means 'fluffy' in Japanese.
It can also sometimes be translated as 'light and airy' or 'soft', which is how one can describe Fuwa Fuwa's super fluffy souffle pancakes.
Newly opened at the Bentall Centre, Fuwa Fuwa's handcrafted Japanese-style pancakes are made to order using a special secret recipe and finest ingredients to ensure its pancakes are always fresh, warm and super fluffy.
4) Local hero

Tucked in on the quiet cobbles of Thames Street, Local hero is the perfect spot for a quiet Pancake Day treat, serving classic American-style pancakes with streaky bacon and sweet fluffy pancakes with berry compote and yogurt.
5) Cote

For those of you who love traditional French crepes on Pancake Day, then Cote on Kingston's Riverside Walk is the perfect place for you.
6) Browns
Located in the heart of Kingston, the sophisticated restaurant chain, Browns offers two types of pancakes, perfect for those looking to be boujee this Pancake Day.
These are Berries & Cherries Buttermilk pancakes and Pancetta Buttermilk Pancakes.
7) Megan's

With restaurants in Kingston and Surbiton, Megan's offers Mediterranean-style pancakes.
Being dubbed as having the "best pancakes in London", a firm favourite pancake choice amongst Megan's guests is its pancake stack layered with banana and topped with coconut chia yoghurt, homemade blueberry compote, dried raspberries, and pistachios, finished with a generous swirl of maple syrup.
8) Ancient Market Place

If you'd rather support a local trader this Pancake Day, then the Ancient Market has a stall selling sweet and savoury crepes.
What better way to enjoy the start of spring than sitting outside in the (slightly) warmer weather and enjoying a freshly made crepe?
9) Renas Surbiton

Renas, Surbiton's Turkish restaurant with a modern twist, which only opened in December last year, is serving pancakes during its breakfast and brunch menu hours from 10am.
At Renas, diners can enjoy its Pancake Breakfast, which includes one fried egg, a hash brown, turkey bacon, and two pancakes with maple syrup, baked beans, and white or brown toast or its Homemade Pancake, which is three homemade pancakes with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, maple syrup, and icing sugar.
And if you want to be super indulgent this Pancake Day, diners can add Nutella for an extra £2.
