A brand-new tutoring service in the heart of Kingston's town centre is issuing an invitation to borough parents, with the centre now open and welcoming students.

Located minutes away from Kingston Station on Fife Road, Kip McGrath Kingston offers personalised learning programmes for children aged 6-16 years who are struggling to achieve their full potential with Maths and English in a typical school environment.

With groups limited to no more than five pupils, each student will receive direct tutor support on their individualised programmes, helping to resolve gaps in their foundation learning and working towards continuous progress.

The programmes, the support of well-qualified tutors, homework and regular feedback help students to improve their skills, as well as develop confidence and self-esteem.

The man behind Kingston's exciting new project is local David Impey, who has over 35 years of teaching experience across the globe, including 10 years in UK Primary and Secondary Schools and 16 years as a Head of International Schools (with UK-based curricula) in Dubai and India. He has consistently continued classroom teaching throughout.

The former Headteacher relocated with his wife to London three years ago to settle. He knew a franchise tutoring centre was an exciting next step, which he was eager to launch, and is delighted that things are now starting to take shape.

Speaking to Nub News, David said: "Kingston's Kip McGrath is a place where we want to welcome any young student who is struggling with learning and make it clear to them that they can make progress, learn effectively and enjoy it, with the right support and teaching."

After two years of running Kingston Kip McGrath online, David is now offering in-centre or online assessments and lessons. Parents are able to choose whether they would prefer their children to work online or in-centre, or a combination of both.

Since the beginning of May the centre has opened and is becoming established, with a steady flow of assessments and lessons. Once up and running fully at the Kingston Centre, David expects to be hosting around 120 students lessons a week, Monday through to Saturday.
