Our recent Kingston course saw four people get a job before the course finished, with several more on track to get hired soon.
The next Room for Work Kingston course starts January 14th. If you're ready to boost your confidence, build new skills, and open the door to your next job, this is your opportunity.
The Room for work programme is for for skilled workers over-45 with previous work experience. The course is supported by Kingston Borough, backed by the Mayor of London and funded by the UK Government.
Course participants learn current employability skills with an emphasis on networking, developing social media skills, improving CVs, and practising competency-based interviews. Instruction on the use of AI is included.
Tailored one-to-one mentoring is provided by the Course Leader. Follow-up coaching support is also available at no cost.
To attend, participants will need: a laptop or tablet; access to the web; a good working knowledge of English and basic computer skills.
The 12-week course is presented at the Warehouse, Hampton Wick KT1 4AL, just across the bridge from Kingston Town Centre. Classes are on Wednesdays from 10.30am-1pm.
