Our Assistant Hotel Managers are passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience and strive to deliver a consistently high quality product plus great service at every contact point.As Assistant Hotel Manager at Travelodge London Chessington Tolworth, you would be responsible for leading, coaching and motivating the hotel teams.Your role would also include:Making sure rooms and communal areas are cleaned by company best practiceEnsuring food is prepared and presented to brand standard (if working in a Bar Cafe hotel)Maximising food and beverage sales by cross and upselling (if working in a Bar Cafe hotel)Reviewing customer feedback to produce targeted action plansWorking with team members to create personal development plansRecruiting motivated team members and making sure they have a warm inductionReporting and overseeing any repairs or maintenance neededAdditional responsibilities include rota management, banking and health & safety40 hours per week (typical shifts are 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm)The ideal candidate for this role will have preferably been an Assistant Manager, or equivalent, in a customer facing industry and will have led a team. Acting as electrical design engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) or technical lead for Platform Management Systems (PMS).Design and development of electrical panel/enclosure/cabinet design in accordance with customer requirements and first principles where required.Creation, modification, maintenance and management of electrical designs for power and control systems.Analysing and justifying electrical based designs and component selectionReviewing electrical schematics in accordance with relevant standards and internal Computer Aided Design (CAD) processes.Producing, modifying, maintaining and managing technical documents to support contractual deliverables (e.g. specifications, design documents, Bill of Materials (BOMs) etc.).Resolving electrical issues during hardware design, development, manufacture, integration and qualification.Providing electrical engineering expertise to derive, define, decompose and manage requirements.
