On the lookout for a Quality Assurance Officer to join a dynamic technical team in Chessington. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to technical and food safety standards across the site. This role offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional development, with comprehensive training provided by their experienced team.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to verifying technical standards, conducting procedural audits, analysing GMP trends, investigating complaints, and participating in both internal and external audits. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting taste panels, calibration checks, and shelf-life assessments, ensuring compliance with established protocols. Collaboration is key in this organisation. You will work closely with different departments, including Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain Management, to address technical issues, conduct risk assessments for new equipment, and manage supplier relationships effectively.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives by analysing data, identifying trends, and formulating action plans to enhance technical compliance. Your ability to influence and coach others will be essential in fostering a culture of excellence throughout the organisation.

To succeed in this role, you should ideally have experience in an FMCG environment and possess a working knowledge of technical management systems. Strong organisational skills, the ability to analyse data effectively, and the capacity to work collaboratively across functions are also crucial for this position.
