About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our thriving independent boy's school in Kingston-Upon-Thames for the Autumn term 2025. This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity to teach across both Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3, making it ideal for an experienced Secondary Mathematics Teacher looking for flexible working arrangements.

Working Hours Monday: 8:45am - 1:15pm (4.5 hrs) Tuesday: 8:00am - 12:00pm (8am staff briefing required) (4 hrs) Wednesday: 8:45am - 4:30pm (Full day) (7hrs45mins) Thursday: 10:00am - 1:15pm (8:45am start available if preferred) (4.5 hours or 3hrs15mins) Friday: 8:45am - 1:15pm (4.5 hours)

Contract Details This position is initially offered for the Autumn term 2025 (September 1st - December 10th). While this is currently a fixed-term contract, there may be potential for extension depending on school needs, though this cannot be guaranteed at this stage.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Proven experience teaching KS3 Mathematics • Ability to teach Mathematics from Year 5 (KS2) through to Year 9 (KS3) • Strong subject knowledge across the transition from primary to secondary mathematics • Excellent classroom management skills with boys aged 7-13 • Commitment to high academic standards and pupil achievement
