About Us:

As we prepare for the influx of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) roles in September 2024, we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistants to join our team for school based in Kingston upon Thames. The schools I support are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the new cohort of children, and I'm looking for individuals who are passionate about EYFS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum.
  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience working within the EYFS framework.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
  • Desirable: Experience working with children with SEN within an EYFS setting.
