Set sail on September 24th for a legendary pirate adventure!
Arrr! Yer voyage begins at The Fighting Cocks, where live music, sea shanties, grog, and all manner o' pirate mischief await. Raise yer tankards high and carouse with yer fellow buccaneers!
When the tide be right and the bell be rung across the tavern, we'll drain our tankards, rally the crew and march the gangplank down the road to the depths o' Bacchus, where a crew o' DJs will be spinnin' tunes fit for the wildest pirates on the seven seas 'til the early hours!
Don yer finest pirate garms, hoist the colours, and prepare for a night o' rum-fuelled revelry, dancing and pluderin' antics. Whether ye be a seasoned sea dog, or a fresh-faced landlubber, this be one voyage ye won't want to miss!
More pirate proclamations be revealed soon mateys… YO HO!
Cutlass
Their music is a product of these thrash, NWoBHM and classic metal influences and is delivered with a raw intensity and honesty. During 2003-2008 they released a demo album and EP, and lived up to their name playing across the south of the UK with their preposterous lyrics and adrenaline fuelled riffs, serving up wild original songs and covers from Judas Priest to Slayer to hundreds of (many unsuspecting) fellow teenagers across DIY gigs. From 2008 the band were scattered to the four winds from France to New Zealand, and it wasn't until late 2019 that the core members found themselves together in London again. They quickly became active musicians in the city's metal scene and played their first London show in twelve years just before the pandemic, leaving it only a matter of time before the recording of a comeback EP.
The Anchors
Pirate cats? Giant monster prawns? Drinking forbidden cocktails from golden boots? The Anchors perform memorable original tracks that are fast, fun and melodic, inviting the audience into a fantastical pirate world. We spread our pirate blasphemy across the seven seas with songs that will get a swashbuckling audience headbanging, dancing and chanting in no time – our live performances are lively and energetic, like a rum-fueled party amidst an ocean storm. We have been compared with bands such as Alestorm and Gloryhammer for one reason – the guarantee of a good time.
