Musical Roots in Richmond Park

Come and join us for an evening in the heart of Richmond Park with two hours of live music, supper with wine and a welcome drink. Whether you are a blues/boogie-woogie or jazz enthusiast, this event is perfect for everyone.

The ever charismatic Dana Gillespie will host the event and top the bill with her raunchy stories and music . Dana was the first ever Mary Magdalene in the London stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar and has worked with the likes of David Bowie, Bob Dylan and Mick Jagger to name but a few. Her mesmerising voice, stage presence and great humour have thrilled audiences worldwide - and seeing her live is something not to be missed.

Dana will be joined by Dino Baptiste, keyboard player and vocalist extraordinaire and Tyger Tyger a seasoned trio of jazz veterans with a repertoire ranging from the thirties to the sixties.

You will be greeted with a welcome drink and served a light supper with wine during the interval in the middle of two hours of live music. There will also be a raffle draw with locally contributed prizes. Parking is free with the Richmond Park gates being opened for you as you leave.

All proceeds will go directly to the Holly Lodge Centre, a small unique charity in Richmond Park which provides nature, history and science based learning experiences for almost 8,500 people per year - specialising in those with special educational needs and disabilities. The charity receives no Government funding so is dependent on events such as this, as well as other contributions, to keep up and running.

Tickets cost £68.50 per person and can be obtained on www.everbrite.co.uk
