First published in 1977, Toni Morrison's classic novel Song of Solomon maps the history of segregated America through the life of Macon "Milkman" Dead III, an African-American man living in Michigan, from birth to adulthood.
Frequently cited as one of the greatest English-language novels of the 20th century, Song of Solomon is at once a breathtaking meditation on rebellion, community and self-expression.
Join us in our cafe on Thursday 23rd March at 7pm for an informal discussion about the book. Everyone is welcome!
