Kingston brewery to close after 12 years
By Tilly O'Brien 15th Sep 2026
A brewery in Kingston is set to close down after 12 years of operation.
The team behind The Park Brewery and Park Brew & Kitchen have decided to close the businesses due to economic costs.
In a message to fans and customers, The Park Brewery said: ""The last few years have been extraordinarily tough for small independent businesses, particularly in brewing and hospitality.
"We've adapted again and again — cutting costs, finding new customers, developing new income streams and, in 2024, opening Park Brew & Kitchen.
"But ultimately the economics of running both businesses have become increasingly difficult, and we've reached the point where we don't believe continuing is the right thing to do."
The team is seeking opportunities to sell the brewery, its equipment, brand, and other assets.

There are are also discussions on going with an independent cafe operator who might be interested in taking the site on.
The Park Brewery added that it is "enormously proud" of what it has built, from the family kitchen to supplying hundreds of pubs, bars, and venues, winning 20 SIBA awards and, most importantly, "putting a lot of beer into the hands of a lot of lovely people".
