Pottery for Intermediates

This course is designed for anyone wanting to extend their skills in pottery further. A perfect follow on from our course, Pottery for Beginners, the course is the ideal opportunity to work with different clay types to create more ambitious pieces in a fun and friendly environment.

Throughout this 8-week course you will have the opportunity to extend your ceramics skills further by taking on more ambitious projects. You will be introduced to working with stoneware clay, suitable for larger pieces and outdoor sculptures, alongside learning more complex glazing and construction techniques, including the use of oxides. Students will be able to complete their own personal projects in the later stages of the course with the support and guidance of their lecturer.
