This advanced course offers an opportunity to writers to enlarge upon their existing practice. Do you have some momentum with creative writing ideas that you now want to develop and refine? Perhaps you are a professional writer with experience in journalism or copy writing who now wants to turn their attention to fiction, memoire or poetry? Have you taken our Introduction to Creative Writing course and want to keep going?

The course will consist of tutor-led, supportive, dynamic workshops that will facilitate a nuanced and rigorous reflection on your writing. Over the eight weeks of the course, you will deepen your understanding of challenges such as technique, style, voice, character and structure. You will learn about the editing and drafting process. So, join us to take your writing to the next level, and help others to do the same.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but we would recommend that you have some previous writing experience or have previously taken our introductory level Creative Writing course available.
