Cass Art's abstract painting exhibition is brought to you by Laura Skelton through her 'Memory Hoarder' paintings.

Laura Skelton studied an Art foundation at Chelsea and BA at Winchester School of Art. As a young emerging artist, Laura's artwork has been exhibited in galleries in London and Jersey, and is now right on our doorstep in Kingston upon Thames.

She specialises in Abstract art and oil painting. 

"I predominantly paint in oil on board and canvas. My work straddles a line between abstraction and representation. I repeat motifs and symbols that can become figurative.

"I try to give the viewer the space to bring their own interpretation and the controlling force is always about the painting. My pallet is vibrant and changing. I try to evoke a reaction in the viewer using combinations that are vivid. It is always what sparks the painting process."

Laura's exhibition is free of charge at Cass Art Kingston.
