A 22-year-old man died after being stabbed in Kingston town centre this morning (21 August).

Police launched a murder investigation and have arrested two teenage suspects.

A man spotted at Kingston station and in the Rotunda with a knife has been arrested by police.

On Wednesday 18 August, Kingston police detained a suspect in the Rotunda after he was seen running away from officers.

Kingston groups partner up for FREE life-saving throw-line demonstrations

Kingston groups have been teaming up to give residents FREE water safety lessons this summer

The 2-hour long classes teach members of the public how to use a throw-line correctly and the ways that water safety volunteers rescue people in difficulty.

Kingston's new sculpture trail has finally launched.

The public art trail stretches from Canbury Gardens to Kingston marketplace and will be in place for 3 months.

Kingston headteachers and the Council have paid tribute to the young people of our borough as they achieved an impressive set of GCSE and A-Level results this week.

An incredible 90% of GCSE results at [L+]Tiffin[.L] boys' school and Kingston Grammar were awarded 7-9 and 70% of entries from Surbiton High School achieved at least a 7.

16 and 17 year-olds can get walk-in Pfizer vaccines in Kingston this week

16 and 17-year-olds in Kingston are being invited to get their Pfizer vaccines at walk-in clinics across the borough this week.

Two vaccination centres, Hawks Road in Kingston and PSM Pharmacy in Surbiton, are offering first Covid jabs to under 18s.

New banners warning of the dangers of swimming at a Lock near Kingston were put up by the Environment Agency today.

The giant red banners can be seen on the railings by the Lock footbridges and on the Weir itself.

A man has been arrested after setting fire to his own boat in Kingston last night (18 August).

Police were called to Thames Side at Turks Pier at 11.47pm to reports of a man threatening to set his boat alight.

Kingston MP calls Boris Johnson a "national liability" in heated debate

Kingston MP Ed Davey called Prime Minister Boris Johnson "a national liability" in a heated Parliamentary debate yesterday (18 August).

The Liberal Democrat leader, who represents Surbiton and Kingston, condemned the Prime Minister for his lack of planning and influence in US politics in the Parliamentary session on Afghanistan.
