Kingston hospital's eye emergency clinic has been given a makeover thanks to the generosity of a Hampton man.

The new Roy Dominy Ophthalmology Acute Referral Centre opened at the end of September (2021) after months of renovations to add more space and improve efficiency for doctors and patients.

Kingston town centre will be getting 25 more police officers by the end of the year, the Met have announced.

The new town centre patrol team will include one Inspector, three sergeants and 21 police constables and be in action from December 2021.

A stretch of Kingston's A3 has been closed for more than 12 hours following reports of cars being abandoned due to flooding.

The A3 Southbound from Kingston Vale to Coombe Lane has been shut to traffic since 4.42am.
