KINGSTON Council Leader Caroline Kerr has resigned because of infighting within her party and poor decisions which have cost the Lib-Dems the trust of residents, opposition councillors have claimed.

Green Party Cllr Sharron Sumner and Leader of Kingston Conservatives Kevin Davis gave their reaction to Nub News following yesterday's shock announcement that Cllr Kerr will step down.

LOCAL MP Sarah Olney has condemned the lack of police in the Royal Parks after it emerged a team of just two officers is responsible for both Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

The Richmond Park MP, who represents residents in areas of North Kingston, spoke out after several cyclists were attacked and robbed by a machete wielding gang while riding through Richmond Park earlier this month.

KINGSTON'S first mass covid vaccination centre is set to become a block of flats after the NHS programme to get the UK jabbed ends, it has emerged.

The building on Hawks Road, where many in Kingston borough and beyond have received their covid jabs, could become a high-rise of 13-storeys according to plans on a newly launched website by developer London Square.
