Every Thursday we round up all the eye catching events occurring in your area over the weekend.

Weekend

Hampton Court Food Festival, 10am-6pm 26-28 August

Indulge to your heart's content in sumptuous food and tempting drinks in the historical setting of the palace. Over 150 iconic brands and producers are attending the event, including a cocktail making class by local gin distillery Bone Idyll. With games on the lawn, it is fun for all the family.

Friday 25 August

Women Artists of Richmond & Kingston Exhibition, FUSEBOX Kingston, 7pm

This evening event celebrates the artist' opening night. It allows artists who have works on display to come along to see their works and to network with each other. Family and friends are also invited to come along and celebrate the displayed works. 

The Metros, O'Neill's, 9:30pm-11:30pm

Rock and Roll, plus old school rhythm and blues, provided by The Metros at O'Neill's. Sounds designed for dancing to, anthem style singing with and for letting your hair down – gentle head-banging permitted!

Saturday 26 August

London Fine Art, Antiques and Collectors Auction, 9:30am

Hansons Auctions are back showcasing the most beautiful antiques at the Normansfield Theatre. View the catalogue to get a sneak peek at what's coming up. You can also join the auction online.

Saxon Fayre, Kingston Museum, 11am-4pm

This year Kingston Museum will be hosting their first Saxon Fayre for you all to enjoy. This day for all the family will be all about the Saxon way of life then and now.

With the opportunity to take part in games, create interesting Saxon inspired pots and jewellery, take part in guided tours by Kingston Tour Guides and even learn about Saxon Bee keeping. There will also be storytelling and even Saxon inspired music too. It's a day not to be missed.

Sunday 27 August

Rattus Inheritus at Ram Jam Records, The Grey Horse, 9pm-11pm

Rattus Inheritus bring you the music of The Stranglers. Live. Played by Stranglers fans for Stranglers Fans. Their Ethos - To play the music of their musical heroes that formed the soundtrack to their youth, and not take themselves too seriously. £10 entry, doors 8.30pm, show 9pm
