Unfinished Business

This fascinating exhibition explores the history of J.M.W. Turner's painting Margate(?), from the Sea (1835–40), and explains the complex legacy of his will and the large body of work known as the Turner Bequest.

Puccini - Manon Lescaut

Thursday 4 June - Sunday 7 June, Normansfield Theatre in Teddington

Rose Opera returns to Normansfield Theatre this spring with Puccini's Manon Lescaut — a passionate tale of love, obsession and heartbreak, performed with full orchestra and chorus.

Running for just five performances between 30 May and 7 June, the production combines large-scale theatrical design, an international cast and some of Puccini's most glorious music.

This new staging features a distinctive concept by Stage Director Callie Nestleroth, evocative designs by Fred Broom, and musical direction from Lewis Gaston conducting Rose Opera Orchestra and Chorus.

ome and savour and as learn about delicious artisan wines and charcuterie from France and Italy in the exclusive private gardens of the Holly Lodge Centre in the middle of Richmond Park

Whilst being guided through each of the the wines being sampled by a connoisseur you may also partake in a spread of French and Italian cheeses and cured meats with ciabatta and baguettes. This magical evening will all take place in the enchanted woodlands of the Holly Lodge Centre's idyllic gardens, which will be at their peak in early June.

Saturday 6 June, The Fighting Cocks, Doors open at 7.30pm.

A six-piece heavy progressive rock band based in London, their music is an electric blend of different genres, swiftly alternating between ambient melodic sections and heavy dissonance.
