WITCHDOKTORS

Friday 5 September, The Fighting Cocks, 7.30pm - 11pm.

WITCHDOKTORS are legends, almost. Formed in 1992 they have long established themselves as one of the UK's leading Rock'n'Roll punk bands. The WitchDoktors cocktail consists of a double measures of 70's punk (upbringing of Ramones, Clash, Pistols, Damned etc) and a good ol' full measure of trashy rock'n'roll-a-billy, a dash of 60's Psyche-Out Garage and a bitter slice of country on the rocks! They will likely share an early taster for the forthcoming album!

Transition Town Kingston's Repair Café will be back in Kingston Library's community room on the first Saturday morning of the month, helping you to save money and keep repairable stuff out of the waste system. Visitors can bring all sorts of broken items to fix on the spot with the help of our skilful volunteer repairers and refreshments while you wait, watch and learn how to repair, or even sharpen, your items.

Additionally and ongoing, we will be helping to keep laptops out of the waste system by offering help with upgrading them in preparation for the demise of Windows 10 support.

Pigeon Pit

Pigeon Pit

Crazy Arms is the 5th LP by Olympia, WA country/punk poets Pigeon Pit, and their first since becoming a nationally touring 6-piece band. It's a melodic call to action for folks who listen to both Bright Eyes and CRASS. A night at the Ryman on slow-burn psychedelics and the dreams you choose to think out loud at sunrise. Crazy Arms is the sound of a band hitting their stride, comfortable in the chaos, letting you know you aren't alone.
