Kingston Society Photography Exhibition

Join The Kingston Society and Malden Camera Club for a photography exhibition in All Saints Church, offering a snapshot time capsule of the Borough in 2022.

The aim of the exhibition is to display Kingston upon Thames's rich urban history and natural environment, but also the challenges of the current built environment.

Also on display is the story of 60 years of civic society activism by Society volunteers, some long gone. A journey back through the memories of past, but also a fascinating insight into how we have changed since the 1960s.

Guns 2 Roses at The Fighting Cocks

Guns 2 Roses, are the UK's longest running Guns N Roses tribute. They have existed since late 2002 and over the years have become the world's biggest GNR tribute and they have the history to prove it!

They are the only Guns N Roses tribute band to have performed a world tour and performed live on stage with members of the original and new line up of Guns N Roses. This also led to G2R members being personally invited on Axl Rose's 2006 and 2010 Guns N Roses tours. Over the years they have played to thousands in the UK, Europe, Middle East and USA.

This Saturday, they return to Kingston for the third time in nine years for what promises to be a night to remember!

Sunday, November 13

East & Southeast Asian Culture Festival at the Rose Theatre

The Korean British Cultural Exchange (KBCE) is celebrating the 7th Anniversary of the Kingston Korea Festival 2022 with the launch of the ESEA (East & Southeast Asian) culture festival.

The ESEA community share the exact date for the Harvest Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, regardless of its name: Chuseok (Korea), Tsukimi (Japan), Tết Trung Thu (Vietnam) or Moon Festival (China). Hence, next year, KBCE will collaborate with Kingston's ESEA (East & Southeast Asian) communities to celebrate the bringing together of these cultures and reach out to local communities about authentic experiences or traditions they may never know about.

The Programme includes traditional music and dance performances, storytelling and traditional clothing fashion show from ESEA communities, and KPOP performances. On the day, there will be a dance premiere performance by SY Park and emerging artists from Kingston to commemorate the late Queen Elizabeth II. There will be stalls to serve Korean street food and a Korean language experience on the 2nd Floor of the Rose.

Purchase tickets for both this event and KPop UK National Competition 2022 for £10 total.
