Looking for something to do in Kingston this weekend? We've got you covered.

Every Thursday we bring you our pick of at least 3 amazing events happening in our town on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Here's what we think you'll love this week.

FRIDAY NIGHT: An Evening with Ellen Alpsten, author of Tsarina, at Parade's End Books

Join us in the bookshop for an enchanting evening with local bestselling fiction author Ellen Alpsten, author of Tsarina and The Tsarina's Daughter.

After discussing her experiences researching and writing to create her rich, sweeping novels, there will be the opportunity for a Q&A where you can ask all of your burning questions. Discussions will be followed by a chance for you to buy the books and get them signed while enjoying drinks and nibbles in true Russian style!

Where: Parade's End Books, 406 Richmond Road, Kingston upon Thames

When: 7-9pm

Cost: £3

SATURDAY AFTERNOON/EVENING: Open Studio and Live Jazz at Kate Howe Studios

Once a month we clean up the brushes, change into clean painting clothes and open the doors to have a drink with you!

Come make new friends, reconnect with old ones, browse through the library, and see the work in progress in the studio.

Fresh painting clothes and buckets of beer. Come hang out at the open studio, have a drink, meet new friends and connect with old.

Janet McCunn will be performing live jazz all night. You can also check out the exhibition Coping in Colour

When: 5-8pm

SATURDAY NIGHT: JD and the Electrones at Ram Jam Records

Houserockin' Jumpin' Low Down Blues from JD & The Electrotones. Expect big harmonica tones and stompy rhythms!

Blues legends JD Harmo, Little Victor and Jo 'Buddy' make for a thrilling Blues outfit with high energy tunes making a boogie impossible to resist!

Where: Ram Jam Records at The Grey Horse, 46b Richmond Rd, Kingston upon Thames KT2 5

When: Doors from 7pm

Cost: £11

SUNDAY: Kingston Antiques and Vintage market at Old London Road

A vibrant Antiques, Collectables Vintage and Retro market in the iconic Old London Road area of Kingston.

35 traders will be offering a huge array of items whatever your taste. Many of the items could make interesting Christmas presents.

Where: Old London Road, Kingston town centre

When: 10am-4pm

Cost: Free!
