Looking for something to do in Kingston this weekend? We've got you covered.

Every Thursday we bring you our pick of at least 3 amazing events happening in our town on Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday.

Here's what we think you'll love this week.

FRIDAY TO SUNDAY: Opera at Normansfield Theatre

Just over the bridge in Hampton Wick, local company Rose Opera are putting on three performances of Wagner's Flying Dutchman with full orchestra, chorus and soloists. Performed in German with English subtitles.

"Some of Wagner's most beautiful, romantic music in one of his shortest works, on a theme of redemption through love."

When: Friday 22 October at 19:00, Saturday 23 October at 19:00 and Sunday 24 October at 14:30.

Cost: £25 for adults, £22 concessions

SATURDAY: National KPOP competition at the Rose Theatre

Kpop UK National Competition returns for its 3rd year.

Hosted by KBCE and produced by the London KPop Dance Workshop (LoKo) as a part of the Kingston Korea Festival.

Finalists from all over the UK will battle it out to win our Kpop Dance category, Kpop Vocal category and Freestyle Dance Battle

When: Saturday 23 October at 5pm, event runs for 2hrs 30mins, incl. interval

Price: £5

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: Halloween at Hampton Court Palace

Visit Hampton Court Palace this October half term if you dare!

See what ghosts and ghouls you can uncover in a brand new interactive experience for all the family.

From tales of Catherine Howard in her chambers, to haunted portraits of the damned, creepy ghost stories and themed pumpkin carvings, there's plenty to explore in Henry VIII's famous palace, bedecked in its Halloween finest.

When: Saturday 23 October and Sunday 24 October, then all week until Sunday 31 October (Halloween). Runs from 10.00 - 17.30

Price: Included in Palace admission
