Kingston Council Leader Caroline Kerr has explained how rapid testing will work for key workers in the borough.

You ca watch the Liberal Democrat Councillor for Canbury in the video above.

Alternatively here is the full transcript:

"If you're somebody who has to go to work or volunteer its really important you regularly get yourself tested even when you don't have any symptoms of COVID.

"So a big shout to the Kingston Academy and Richard Chaliner who have opened up their premises as rapid results test sites for the community and we're so lucky to have such brilliant partners in the borough.

"I also want to thank Kingston University who are already doing this.

"I'm very pleased that we've also got a fourth site at Chessington Sports Centre.

"If you work for a large organisation you'll probably already have had an invitation but if you work for yourself or for a smaller organisation please go on out website where you can book yourself a slot.

"The advice is you should get tested regularly - about twice a week.

"Remember that one in three people have no symptoms of COVID so if we can catch these asymptomatic cases we can stem the infections across the borough and keep these asymptomatic workers safe."
