A shop in Tolworth is seeking permission to sell alcohol until 1am.

Kingston International Market, which is located on Tolworth Broadway, wishes to sell alcohol during its current operation hours of 7am – 1am seven days a week.

This would be for the consumption of alcohol off the premises.

The shop's current alcohol license is until 11pm seven days a week.

In promoting the four licensing objectives, applicant Ramanathan Ragunathan, says the shop will ensure adequate staffing, ensure Challenge 25 is advertised and implemented, use CCTV, and ensure that all alcohol is visible to avoid theft.

Residents have until Wednesday, 5 November to submit representations.
