The Wych Elm pub has had a swanky new refurbishment just in time for spring.

The pub, which is part of the Fullers Chain and located in Elm Road, has new paintwork on its exterior and new golden signage.

It also has a new roof to keep the rain out and a bit of "patching up" after there was a leak in the old roof.

Moreover, the toilets have been done up and, just in time for the much-needed warmer weather, the pub has had a gazebo built in the garden.

Speaking about the refurb, one of the pub's barmen told Kingston Nub News: "We're very happy, they've done a good job this time, not a budget and leg it job like last time.

The Wych Elm is open from 12pm – 11pm Wednesday – Saturday and 12pm – 9pm on Sundays.
