Police have confirmed that a teenage boy who was reported missing in Kingston yesterday morning has been found 'safe and well'.

Officers in Kingston had initially issued an appeal for information on the whereabouts of Jacob, 14, from Chessington, however took to social media earlier today to confirm he had been found.

The Metropolitan Police officers in Kingston shared a post on Twitter, writing: "Jacob, who we shared as missing yesterday, has been found safe and well.

"Thank you to all that shared and helped!"
