A pub in Surbiton is set to close for a month while it undergoes a refurb.

The Victoria, located on Victoria Road, will be temporarily closed from 25 August – 25 September.

According to one of the pub's bar staff, The Victoria will close earlier than usual on 25 August to provide the staff enough time to "close up properly".

The refurb will include new furniture - with the pub's current furniture being sent to be reupholstered – restructuring of the meeting room to create "more coherent" space, and work to the beer garden.
