Surbiton coffee shop could start selling flowers

A coffee shop in Surbiton has submitted a licensing application to Kingston Council, seeking to extend its trading license.

Coffee on the Corner would like to sell flowers on the grass area opposite the shop on King Charles Road from 7am – 5pm seven days a week from 21 November – 14 December.

It would like to set up a stall and netting funnel to trade from and hopes to "build a temporary platform in order to protect the grass and ensure people don't slip".

Residents have until 30 October to submit representations.
