A Surbiton café has begun hosting weekly yoga sessions with a local yoga instructor.

The sessions, led by Rosie Parffrey, will take place from 7.30pm – 8.30pm every Tuesday at Monte Bianco café on Brighton Road.

There is an initial discount offer for attendees' first class with each class costing £10.

Spaces for the sessions can be booked by messaging Parffrey on Instagram or on her website.

Parffrey discovered yoga 15 years ago as a "remedy to the demands of a busy London life".

She says she was initially  drawn to the physicality of yoga, reigniting her passion for movement, which she had once explored through dance.

She added: "This love of simply moving my body is what inspires my classes, offering mindful sequences that bring you back to yourself. I encourage curiosity and kindness towards the varying ways each of us experiences these physical practices.

"As a forever student of yoga, my classes are a reflection of my personal practice —teaching yoga as a complete system, far beyond just the postures.

"At the heart of my teachings lies a deep respect for the philosophical principles that underpin yoga."

To become a fully qualified yoga instructor, Parffrey took a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Yogarise in Peckham.
