Australian-born fitness class STRONG Pilates is set to come to Kingston this autumn.

Run by owners Kathryn and Scott, the new Kingston studio will be located in the former Carluccios site at Charter Quay.

Co-owner Kathryn comes from a background in management consulting and digital transformation.

She fell in love with STRONG as a customer and decided to make it her next career move.

Kathryn says that what really drew her to STRONG is "that it's the perfect blend of Pilates, strength training, and cardio (all in a 45-minute workout) which is key to wellness and longevity".

After seeing the impact it had on her physical and mental well-being, she wanted to be part of bringing that same experience to others.

Scott is an art dealer who loves to travel and is a "big believer in the STRONG brand".

He and Kathryn live in Kingston where they are raising their sons and a cat named George.

The new Kingston studio will offer six types of classes, including Pilates Only, STRONG Strength, STRONG Body, STRONG 360, STRONG Loaded, and STRONG Starter.

Kathryn told Nub News that the new studio is set to open in either September or October and that she is actively recruiting for instructors.
