Nix Academy, Hampton Wick, launches private performing arts instruction
Nix Academy has announced the introduction of specialist private lessons in LAMDA, tap dance, and singing at its Hampton Wick studio.
Serving Hampton Wick, Teddington, Kingston and surrounding areas, Nix's experienced instructors will deliver focused 35-minute private sessions, priced at £30 per lesson, designed to nurture individual talent and build confidence through personalised instruction.
Principal and Founder of Nix Academy, Nicky Rowe, said: "We've seen strong demand for one-to-one tuition from our community.
"These new private lessons allow us to provide focused attention on each student's unique journey in performing arts, helping them develop their skills in a supportive environment."
The LAMDA sessions, led by instructor Rea, will cover essential performance skills including voice projection, character development, and exam preparation.
Students will work on monologues, duologues, accents, and public speaking techniques, building a strong foundation in dramatic arts.
Tap dance instruction, also provided by Rea, will focus on rhythm development, technical proficiency, and performance style, with students learning core tap vocabulary and choreography skills on a one-to-one basis.
Singing lessons, conducted by vocal coach Scott, encompass comprehensive voice training including breathing techniques, pitch control, and repertoire development.
Students will explore various musical styles while learning proper vocal care and performance techniques. These sessions are particularly beneficial for students preparing for examinations, auditions, or performances.
Nix Academy is offering flexible scheduling options, with lessons available on Wednesdays from 3:20pm to 8:30pm for all disciplines, and additional singing lessons on Saturdays between 1:30pm and 4:00pm.
This scheduling structure accommodates students' varying commitments and allows for consistent weekly progression.
Each private lesson is tailored to the individual student's skill level and goals, whether they're beginners exploring performing arts for the first time or advanced students preparing for examinations or professional opportunities.
Interested parents and students can contact the office by emailing at [email protected] for more information about the programme and available time slots.
Nix Academy is one of our lovely sponsors.
Without their community-minded sponsorship, we wouldn't be able to bring you local news free from overly-intrusive ads, pop-ups and clickbait.
