Get Moving with NIX & Women's Health Expert Abby Armstrong

Back by popular demand after last year's "Adore Your Pelvic Floor" success, Women's Health Physiotherapist Abby Armstrong is coming to NIX Dance Academy in Hampton Wick for an essential evening talk on women's fitness and wellbeing for busy mums who also need an opportunity to care for their bodies with exercise and movement.

What to Expect:

- Women's exercise fundamentals

- Pelvic floor health refresher

- Post-natal exercise guidance

- Understanding Diastasis Rectus Abdominus

- Return to running strategies

- Exercise through perimenopause and menopause

Your ticket includes a complimentary pass to our Pilates class at NIX, new for 2025. Our new class is perfect timing for school-drop off, starting at 9am. These classes focus on:

- Pelvic health

- Core strength

- Back care

- Individual health issues

The Anglers Christmas Festival

Friday 6 December - Sunday 8 December, The Anglers pub in Teddington, various times.

The Anglers' Christmas Festival is running from Friday 6 December (5pm – 9pm), Saturday 7 December (11am – 4pm), and Sunday 8 December (11am – 4pm).

The Anglers' Christmas Festival is a magical weekend, filled with festive fun, live entertainment, and holiday cheer for the whole family.

The festival is FREE and has a jam-packed schedule of activities, such as live performances from local talent, including the Whitton Community Big Band, North Kingston Choir, and more.

At the festival, you can also browse unique gifts and treats from local artisans, or let the little ones enjoy entertainment with The Fun Gang UK, featuring games, prizes, and a chance to meet Santa in his cosy grotto.

The kids can also enjoy the special Santa Experience, where they can help Twinkletoes the Elf find lost candy canes before visiting Santa.

Guests can also get creative decorating gingerbread cookies, enjoy face painting, and try their luck with The Anglers' tombola and raffle.

 It's the perfect way to kick off the festive season – bring the whole family for a weekend of Christmas cheer.

Christmas Events at John Lewis Kingston

Saturday 7 December - Sunday 8 December, John Lewis Kingston, various times.

Saturday 7 December

From 11am - 4pm, John Lewis Kingston will have choirs performing on the 2nd floor.

From 12pm – 1pm, there'll be a Kid's Festive Fashion event in the Style Studio.

There'll also be a couple of beauty events happening in the Style studio, including:

11am - Bobbi Brown - Smokey Eye

1pm – Lancome - Smokey Eye

From 1pm in the furniture department, there will be a home design workshop on The Perfect Centrepiece.

Saturday's Cricut workshops in the Haberdashery include:

10.30am -12.30pm - Christmas Jumper

2pm – 4pm – Gift Bags

There will also be toy demos on Asmodee and Crayola on the ground and third floors from 11am.

Food tasting will take place on the ground floor from 12pm.

 Finally, the Roaming Elves will be about at 10am and 3pm.

Sunday 8 December

From 11.30am, singer SHISHI will be performing on the second floor.

There's a couple of fashion workshops happening in the Style Studio this Sunday, including:

11am - 12pm - Versatile

2pm - 3pm - Cosy

Also in the Style Studio, is a YSL workshop called Bold Lip.

This workshop is at 1pm.

Also at 1pm in the furniture department on the second floor, there will be a home design Tree Tutorial with Jenny.

Sunday's Circuit Workshops in the Haberdashery include:

11.00am - 1pm - Christmas Mug

2.30pm - 4.30pm - Christmas Cushion

The toy demos on the ground and third floors will be running from 11am.

Finally, food tasting  will take place on the ground floor from 12pm and the Roaming Elves  will be about at 11am and 4pm.
