Senior Bookkeeper – £26,000 to £30,000

AMS are looking to expand their fast-growing practice with an enthusiastic and experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant.

Successful candidates will have responsibility for the production of VAT returns, CIS return calculations and submissions, updating AMS' and their clients' cloud based accounting software and assisting other staff with the production of end of year financial statements. 

Clients will typically be small limited companies with turnovers of between £100k and £3m, from a variety of industries.

Senior Practice Accountant – £40,000 to £50,000

AMS also requires an experienced Senior Accountant who has both exceptional interpersonal skills as well as substantial technical knowledge and the dedication to excel within their forward thinking firm.

This is a varied role where you will be responsible for a wide variety of clients, predominantly producing year end accounts, interim management accounts, corporation tax computations and returns and personal tax computations and returns. 

Sometimes you will need to 'get your hands dirty' with bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS matters.

Beauty Therapist – competitive

Vidatherapy in Teddington is looking for a fully-qualified part-time self-employed beautician.

The role offers weekend and other ad hoc hours for candidates passionate in beauty and wellness.

Part-time Receptionist – £13.75 hourly

Waldegrave Clinic in Teddington is recruiting two friendly, competent receptionists to join their team.

The receptionist role is a busy one, tasked with managing 16 practitioners and who see up to 500 patients a week.

 Basic computer skills and being an excellent team player are essential, but full training is provided for skills beyond this: "We just need individuals who are willing to learn," says the clinic.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients
  • Telephone enquiries
  • Appointment booking
  • Receiving and logging payments
  • Liaison with practitioners
  • General admin

Hours are to be confirmed, but will average 2 to 3 shifts per week for a total of 12 to 18 hours, and will probably include a Saturday morning. Holiday and sickness cover will also be required.

Pay is £13.75 an hour, rising to a generous £14.25 after six months.

This position would typically suit a local resident who enjoys meeting people and is comfortable within a multi-tasking environment.

Autism Support Assistant – £110 daily

A creative and inclusive primary school in Kingston is looking for confident, ambitious and outgoing Autism Support Assistants to provide support for pupils with various special educational needs.

The role is full-time, but term-time only, and will see candidates working across all age groups in the school.

HR Manager – £50,000 to £55,000

Thomas's London Day Schools (TLDS), a group of independent schools in south west London comprising one kindergarten and five schools, is looking for a new HR manager following a period of expansion.

TLDS' latest institution, Thomas's College, will be opening this September to its first cohort of secondary-age students on a weekly boarding basis.

The new HR manager will be expected to support the recruitment of staff for the new college, alongside the transfer of current staff from the smaller Putney Vale school, which will be closing with the opening of Thomas's College.

This role will be based at the college in Richmond, and will involve occasional travel to the group's HR office in Battersea.
