Royal British Legion to host various events in Surbiton this week

The Royal British Legion (RBL) Surbiton is holding two events in Surbiton this week.

The first is a special Victory in Europe (VE) Day church service at the Surbiton Hill Methodist Church on Thursday (8 May), along with a laying of a wreath and raising the flag at war memorial on Ewell Road.

The second is an open day at the club on Hollyfield Road in Surbiton.

The open day will run from 12pm – 5pm on Saturday (10 May) and will have lots going on, including visit from the MP for Kingston and Surbiton, Ed Davy and the police, old army memorabilia handouts, and a performance from the British Legion Band.
