Iconic recliner brand La-Z-Boy UK is opening its first ever fully-branded store in Kingston's Bentall Centre on 15 December.

The showroom, known as La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, will open its doors for the first time on Friday (December 15) at the Greater London town's shopping centre. It will be the first store in the UK to exclusively sell La-Z-Boy products and will showcase the high street ranges before they reach other retailers.

Shoppers will be able to get a close look at La-Z-Boy's latest collections with 13 different ranges on sale. The chairs, sofas and suites will be displayed in mock living rooms so customers can imagine what the products will look like in their own home and try out the brand's trademark comfort for themselves.

Adam Morley, Head of Marketing and Operations at La-Z-Boy UK, said: "We're really excited to be opening our first La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries store in the UK. We hope shoppers will enjoy getting to know our ranges and the different options they can choose for their home."

Located on the second floor of the shopping centre in Kingston, expert staff will be on hand to answer questions and explain the different colour, upholstery and recline options available. There will be a range of leather and fabric chairs and sofas to choose from, including some British-made products manufactured in La-Z-Boy UK's factory in Lancashire.

La-Z-Boy UK recently launched a major rebrand called Long Live the Lazy, which encourages consumers to take time out from their busy lives to enjoy lazy moments and prioritise comfort and relaxation. The ethos of this marketing campaign will be reflected in the new store, which will feature the new logo and advertising images.
