Rail services have been suspended on the line between Twickenham and Teddington.

Engineering teams are on the scheme, however services are expected to be disrupted until at least 2pm.

Travellers are being advised to switch to buses, which will accept tickets on routes between Twickenham, Teddington and Kingston.

South Western Railway said: "We've been advised that there is a problem with a set of points between Teddington and Strawberry Hill.

"Trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised because of this problem.

"At this time, we estimate that disruption to our services will end at 2pm. Your journey is likely to take longer and you may need to use a replacement bus to complete your journey."

"You can use your ticket to travel on: Buses between Twickenham and Kingston."
