The A307 Queen Elizabeth Road One Way Street was urgently closed due to emergency repairs from Cromwell Road / Birkenhead Avenue to A308 London Road.

The closure came on 13 August after contractors found a large void under the road.

Reinforcing mesh has been installed and concrete pouring began on Saturday 17 August.

The road reopened today 20 August.
