It is time to dig out your vintage band tees and gather your family as you introduce them to the sounds of your teenage punk and indie heyday as Punk Rock Playdate comes to PRYZM in Kingston, for one day only, on Sunday (18 May).

The event, which will run from 2pm - 4pm, promises to be a "nonstop party" with all the sights and sounds of a festival.

This inclusive event is open to rockers old and new with a passion for the punk, alternative and indie hits of the 90s and 00s – think Green Day, Blink 182, and Good Charlotte.

The music is just part of the fun-filled day; Punk Rock Playdate will blast confetti cannons, shoot multicoloured lasers, deploy a giant parachute and blow bubbles galore, creating an electric atmosphere with excitement at every turn.

There will be fun for all the family ensuring that no matter how young or old you are, you are sure to have a blast all afternoon.

Tweens and teens can take inspiration from the tunes and get creative in the colouring and craft zones, while teenies and toddlers can enjoy a safe haven in the soft play space.

With so much happening both on and off the dancefloor, the afternoon is certain to make memorable moments.

Stephan Currie, Venue Manager at PRYZM, said, "PRYZM Kingston is more than just a late-night venue – we are a club for all and what better way to celebrate the generations that have supported us, as well as our future fans, than with the Punk Rock Playdate.

"Whether you're a tot, a grown-up or an avid music fan, there's something for everyone. We can't wait to transform the venue into a family playground for the afternoon."

Punk Rock Playdate is taking place just a few weeks after the success of Raver Tots, a daytime, high-energy, indoor rave that featured top DJs, live performances, fun effects, and a huge range of activities, including ride-along animals and Play-Doh stations.

With limited tickets available, it is advised that you secure yours today.
