This Sunday, 5 October, Kingston upon Thames will host the 'Uber Boat by Thames Clippers' Kingston Half Marathon and 10K, starting at the historic Kingston Market Place.

Over 1,200 runners will set off at 8:30 am for the Half Marathon, followed by more than 300 participants in the 10K at 9:10 am.

Both races will take runners through scenic routes, including a stretch to Teddington Lock and along the stunning Kingston Riverside, and Hampton Court Palace before they return to the ancient marketplace for the finish.

The event will be officially started by the Mayor of Kingston, and participants will be raising funds for various charities including the Mayor's Charitable Trust and Habitats & Heritage charity.

Spectators are encouraged to come and cheer on the runners in what promises to be a fantastic community event celebrating fitness, charity, and Kingston's riverside beauty.
