Police appealing for witnesses following double stabbing on New Malden High Street

Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were rushed to hospital following a double stabbing on New Malden High Street late on Sunday night, with one of the men currently fighting for his life.

Officers arrived at the junction between New Malden High Street and Blagdon Road at 11.40pm alongside members of the London Ambulance Service, to find two men with stab wounds, both of whom taken to hospital.

One of the men, 31, has suffered life-threatening injuries, his family have been informed.

The second man, who is 28-years-of-age, has seen his injuries deemed 'not life-threatening'.

No arrests have been made as of yet with police investigations underway.
