Planned roadworks taking place across the borough this week

This week will see a number of roadworks take place which could impact your routes across the Kingston borough.
Read on to find out what areas will be affected and the roads to avoid.
Planned works
Water Lane, Kingston: 24 hour road closure at the end of the cul-de-sac, 31 October 2022 to 24 February 2024. Works by RBK, footway closed. An alternative route for pedestrians will be provided.
Toby Way, Tolworth: 24 hour lane closure from the bowling centre to Bell Court, 22 May to 29 July 2023. Utility repair by BT, footway closed. A pedestrian walkway will be provided.
Kingston Road, New Malden: 24 hour multi-way signals outside the Fairview development, 12 to 30 June 2023. Highway improvement works by RBK, footway closed. A pedestrian walkway will be provided.
Ewell Road, Surbiton: 24 hour multi-way signals outside 160, 19 to 30 June 2023. Works by RBK, footway closed. An alternative route for pedestrians will be provided.
Kingston Hill, Kingston: 24 hour two-way signals from 13 to 16, 22 to 26 June 2023. Maintenance work by Virgin Media, footway closed. An alternative route for pedestrians will be provided.
Burlington Road, New Malden: 24 hour two-way signals outside 1, 22 to 26 June 2023. New service connection by Thames Water. Footway closed, an alternative route for pedestrians will be provided.
Kingston Hill, Kingston: 24 hour two-way signals outside Cumberland House, 26 June to 7 July 2023. New service connection by Thames Water, footway closed. A pedestrian walkway will be provided.
Wheatfield Way, Kingston: 24 hour lane closure 30m up from the junction of Brook Street, 26 June 2023 to 7 July 2025. Works by the Electrical Network Company, footway closed. A pedestrian walkway will be provided.
Kings Drive, Surbiton: 24 hour road closure from 77 to the junction with Manor Drive and Courtlands Road, 26 June to 25 August 2023. Maintenance works by Southern Gas Networks. Footway closed, an alternative route for pedestrians will be provided.
Tolworth Roundabout TFL Scheme: A3 at the junction with A240, 3 April to 27 October 2023. Work is being undertaken by TFL to improve pedestrian, vehicular and cycling journey times. However, due to the complexity of the works, various stages of traffic management will need to be utilised throughout the project and it is expected to cause significant impact on traffic flows from time to time.
