Planned roadworks taking place across Kingston this week

This week will see a number of roadworks take place across the borough which could affect your journey. 

Read on to find the areas that will be affected and the roads to avoid. 

Planned works

Cromwell Road, Kingston: Lane closure outside the bus station running from 28 October - 6 November. Chamber and valve works on main by Thames Water, public urged to avoid if possible.

Richmond Road and Horse Fair: Heavy southbound traffic expected, allow longer for your journey and avoid the area if possible.

Kingston Bridge, Kingston: Lane closures, 18 July 2022 - 21 February 2023. Repair of defective bridge parapets, balusters, plinths and coping stones.

Canbury Passage, Kingston: Closed until 18 February 2023, sewer repair works by Thames Water

Ellerton Road, Tolworth: Road closure near the junction with Ditton Road, 24 October 2022 - 7 January 2023. Culvert repair works.

Corkran Road, Surbiton: Temporary signals outside 20, 26 October - 7 November 2022. New service connection by Thames Water.

Coombe Road, New Malden: Temporary signals outside 19, 24 - 31 October 2022. New gas connection by Southern Gas Networks.

Langley Road, Surbiton: Temporary signals from the electrical substation to St Matthew's Primary School, 24 October - 10 November 2022. New connection by UK Power Networks.

Church Hill Road, Surbiton: Temporary signals at the junction with Adelaide Road, 31 October 2022. Sewer cleaning and survey by Thames Water.

Glenbuck Road, Surbiton: Temporary signals outside number 1, 5 November - 6 November 2022. New connection by UK Power Networks.

Kingston Hill, Kingston: Temporary signals near Cotswold Close, 2 November - 3 November. Duct works by Vodafone.

Malden Road, New Malden: Temporary signals outside 282, 31 October - 3 November 2022. New connection by Thames Water.

Kingston Hill, Kingston: Temporary signals near Cotswold Close, 2 November - 3 November. New connection by Thames Water.

Ewell Road, Surbiton: Temporary signals outside 112, 1 November - 4 November 2022. New connection by Thames Water.

Villiers Avenue, Surbiton: Temporary signals outside 105, 31 October 2022. Sewer cover and frame replacement by Thames Water.

Fairoak Lane, Chessington: Temporary signals outside 29, 2 November - 4 November 2022. Works by BT.

London Road, Kingston: Road closure from Cambridge to Birkenhead Avenue, 31 October - 2 November 2022 nightly from 9pm - 6am. Carriageway resurfacing.

Galsworthy Road, Kingston: Road closure from Coombe Road to outside Trevallyn Lodge, 2 November - 4 November 2022 nightly from 9pm - 6am. Carriageway resurfacing.

Sheephouse Way, New Malden: Temporary signals at the junction with South Lane, 4 November - 8 November. Duct works by BT.
